Missan’s Iraqi Journalists & Media Union commemorates IraqiNews.com’s martyr, Nizar al-Radhy.

MISSAN / IraqiNews.com: The Chairman of the Iraqi Journalists & Media Union in Missan Province has formed a preparatory committee to prepare for a special mourning celebration for the Martyr of IraqiNews.com news agency, Nizar al-Radhy, who was killed in 2007.   “The Preparatory committee has prepared a special program on the said occasion, comprising a show of a documentary film, entitled ‘The Full Moon’s Absence,’ and a theatre show, entitled ‘Son of the Truth,’, Ali Abdul-Wahid al-Radhy told IraqiNews.com news agency, adding that the celebration would take place mid May next.   Nizar al-Radhy, born in Missan in 1969, was father of 4 children and one of the first journalists, who joined IraqiNews.com, under difficult security conditions that overwhelmed Iraq those days.   Radhy had been the first reporter lost by IraqiNews.com, among three of its journalists, who were killed in mid 2007.   After his assassination on May 30, 2007, he was followed by the IraqiNews.com’s Correspondent in Ninewa Province , Sahar al-Haidary, who was killed on 7/6/2007 and its Correspondent in Diala Province , Arif Ali, who was killed in June 12, 2007.   SKH (IT)     455
