Iraq’s futsal team trains for Arab tournament

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Players of the Iraqi futsal team are training in Baghdad to prepare for the Arab tournament competitions to be hosted by Egypt in late December, the team’s coach, Asaad Lazem, said on Friday. “Seventeen players representing Iraq ‘s futsal squad are divided over three training units per week within preparations for the Arab championship in the Egyptian city of Port Said on December 23-26,” Lazem told IraqiNews.com. “Participating in the contest will be teams from Egypt , Iraq , Libya , Qatar , Morocco , Algeria and Lebanon ,” he added.
