Quick-Installation Japanese Power Station in Missan
MISSAN / IraqiNews.com: Specialized energy cadres began establishing a quick-installation Japanese power generation with a capacity of 25 MVA, north of Amara city, the southern electricity director stated today. Engineer Abdul Kareem Aziz told IraqiNews.com that the station shall be established in Kumait area, 45 km north of Immara city, with a cost of 6 billion Iraqi dinars. “The establishment of the satiation comes within the Electricity Ministry plan to meet the shortage in power supply during this summer”, he added. The real need of the province reaches to 400 megawatts, while the current supply is 110-130 megawatts. Amara city, center of Misan province, lies 390 km south of the capital, Baghdad. RM (TS)/SR 526
