12 mobile tanks, carrying kerosene, captured in Muthanna Province

MUTHANNA / IraqiNews.com: Twelve mobile tanks, carrying kerosene, had been captured in southern Iraq ’s Muthanna Province with their drivers, Muthanna Police Director-General announced on Wednesday.   “The Anti-Crimes Directorate has captured 12 mobile-tankers, ready for smuggling kerosene from Muthanna to other Iraqi provinces, and detained 12 persons charged in the same case,” Maj-General, Kadhim al-Hibashy, told IraqiNews.com news agency.   He said the operation took place in response to intelligence information that had been reported to the Directorate of National Investigations and Information in Muthanna Province .   Samawa, the center of Muthanna Province , is 280 km to the south of Baghdad .   SKH (ST)     538
