Iraqi army arrests 11, seizes IEDs in Mosul

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: An Iraqi army force captured 11 wanted men and seized an arms and explosives cache in eastern Mosul city on Sunday, a military source said. “A force from the 2nd Division stationed in Mosul arrested 11 wanted persons in eastern Mosul in accordance with Article 4 of the law on terrorism,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The force also seized a cache containing five improvised explosive devices (IEDs), sticky charges and hand-grenades,” he added, not giving further details. Mosul, the capital city of the multi-ethnic unrest-stricken province of Ninewa, lies 405 km north of Baghdad. AmR (P) 26
