Concrete blocs removed, sealed roads opened in Talafar

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: Security authorities started on Friday to remove several concrete blocs and to open sealed roads in Talafar, west of Mosul, after the stability in the security situation in the district during 2010, an official police source said. “Army forces and local police started on Friday (Dec. 31) to remove several concrete blocs and to open the sealed roads after the significant security stability in Talafar during 2010,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “Among the roads opened today, one was closed six years ago because of the deterioration of security situation in the district,” he added.
