Six women, young man, killed by armed men in Mosul

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com – Six women and a young man from one family have been killed by a group of unknown gunmen in northern Iraq ’s city of Mosul , a Ninewa security source said on Monday.   “A group of unknown gunmen have killed a family of seven inside their house in west Mosul ’s al-Tanak district late on Monday,” the security source told IraqiNews.com news agency.   He said that among the six women and the young man, there were two elderly women, but he did not define the relationship among the family members, adding that a mother, her daughter and her young son have been among the victims.   “The armed men broke through the house, opened fire on all the victims, whose bodies were found covered with bullet injuries,” he said.   Mosul , the center of Ninewa Province , is 405 kms to the north of Baghdad .   SKH / ST
