Civilian killed by gunmen west of Mosul

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: One civilian was killed on Monday by gunmen in west of Mosul, according to a civilian source. “Gunmen opened fire on a civilian in Talafar, west of Mosul, killing him on the spot,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “They fled to an unknown place,” he added, without giving more details. Talafar is 60 km west of Mosul, the capital of Ninewa, which lies 405 km north of Baghdad.   SH (TP) 554
