Cop wounded in south Mosul

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: A cop was wounded in a bomb blast south of Mosul, security sources said today.   The source told IraqiNews.com that the cop was wounded in bomb blast directed against a federal police patrol, south of the city.   No other details were given.   Mosul, the center of Ninewa province, lies 405 km north of the capital, Baghdad.
