Corpses of 2 escaped prisoners from Mosul prison uncovered

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: North Iraq Ninewa police have discovered the corpses of 2 escaped prisoners from among the 14 prisoners that escaped from Mosul prison, the Ninewa Security & Defense Committee Chairman reported on Sunday.   “The Ninewa police have discovered early on Sunday 2 corpses of prisoners who were among the group of prisoners that had escaped from Mosul ’s Tasfrirat Prison last Thursday,” Abdul-Rahim al-Shimmary told IraqiNews.com news agency.   He said the corpses of escaped prisoners, Rakan Tareq Mohammed and Mohammed Mahmoud, were found by Ninewa’s police,” adding that the discovery of their bodies had decreased the number of the remaining escaped prisoners to 8 out of the 14 escaped prisoners, bodies of 2 other of whom were discovered in a previous date.   Mosul , the center of Ninewa Province is 405 km to the north of Baghdad .   SKH (ST)
