Two wounded demonstrators die in Tikrit, hundreds demonstrate in Balad city:

SALAHADDIN / IraqiNews.com: Two demonstrators, wounded in a dmonstration that took place in Tikrit city, the center of Salahaddin Province, on Friday, have died on Sturday, whilst hundreds of the nearby village of Yathrib of Balad township, have demonstrated, demanding the resignation of the Iraqi government and fighting corruption, according to a security source. “Two out of four demonstrators, wounded during a demonstration in Tikrit city on Friday, have died, whilst hundreds of the village of Yathrib of Balad township, went to the streets on Saturday, demanding the resignation of the Iraqi goernment and fighting corruption,” the security source said. Noteworthy is that Salahaddin Province had witnessed broad mass demonstrations on Friday, during which four civilians were injured, following clashes and exchange of fire between  the demonstrators and the security forces. Meanwhile, the same source said that “a dmonstration by hundreds of Yathrib village of Balad Township, took to the streets of Balad on Saturday, demanding the resignation of the Iraqi government and fighting corruption, despite the curfew imposed on the city. IraqiNews.com’s correspondent had reported on Saturday that the movement had been completely hampered, whilst full security measures was imposed on Tikrit and citizens living in remote areas have failed to reach their offices, due to the curfew imposed on the Province. Tikrit, the center of Salahaddin Province, is 175 kms to the north of Baghdad. ST / SKH   600
