Iraqi intelligence element killed, 7 wanted men arrested in Salah al-Din

SALAH AL-DIN / IraqiNews.com: An Iraqi Intelligence element has been killed in an explosive charge blast in his car north of Tikrit and 7 wanted men have been arrested according to Article 4 – Terrorism, north of the city, a Salah al-Din police source reported on Sunday.   “An explosive charge blew up in a car of an Iraqi Intelligence element, when he passed through Sulaiman-Beg village in Tuz-Khurmatu township, 92 km to the northeast of Tikrit, killing him on the spot,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency.   He said that “a Salah al-Din Emergency battalion  has detained 7 wanted men, according to Article 4 – Terrorism, in Shirgat township, 100 km to the north of Tikrit.”   Tikrit, the center of Salah al-Din Province, is 175 km to the north of Baghdad.   SKH (TS)/SR 866
