4 tremors jolt Sulaimaniya Saturday

SULAIMANIYA / IraqiNews.com: A series of tremors hit the northern Iraq Kurdish city of Sulaimaniya on Saturday at a magnitude of no more than 3.4 degrees on the open-ended Richter scale, an official said. “Two more tremors hit the city on Saturday afternoon, one of them is 3.4 degrees and the other is 2 on the Richter scale,” Borhan Ibrahim, the official in charge of the Sulaimaniya Meteorological Organization’s Seismology Department, told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The four tremors that jolted the city today (Jan. 22) have not left any casualties or losses,” he added.
