Two citizens injured in TNT blast in Sulaimaniya

SULAIMANIYA / IraqiNews.com: An explosion took place in northern Iraq ’s Kurdistan city of Sulaimaniya on Wednesday night, wounding 2 civilians and causing material damage, a city police source reported on Thursday.   “An explosion took place in a small shop, selling chicken in Kurdistan Region’s   central Sulaimaniya’s Mowlawi street on Wednesday night, wounding two persons, one of whom had lost one of his legs,” the police source told IraqiNews.com news agency.   He said the blast was caused by a TNT explosion, for which its case was sent to the special security forces for investigation, giving no further details.   Noteworthy is that the said incident is considered the first of its type this year in Sulaimaniya city of Kurdistan Region , known to be witnessing a good security stability.   SKH (ST)
