Kurdistan’s opposition movement highlights its decision to accept its conditions

SULAIMANIYA / IraqiNews.com: Northern Iraqi Kurdistan Region’s Goran (Change) opposition movement has highlighted the Region’s Presidency’s agreement on the conditions of the opposition to return to the negotiations with the two ruling Parties in Kurdistan.   “The recent decisions by the Kurdistan Region’s Presidency are considered a full agreement on the conditions of the opposition to return to the negotiations, thing that we consider as ‘positive’, Goran’s spokesman, Mohammed Towfiq Rahim, told IraqiNews.com news agency on Sunday, adding: “but we are waiting for the authorities to begin implementing its decisions and then we would return to the negotiations.”   The Kurdistan Presidency had issued four decisions on Saturday night, described as “important and courageous,” to settle the political crisis in Kurdistan Region that began since mid February, including the implementation of all the judicial decisions against all the wanted persons since the beginning of the February incidents in Sulaimaniya and other towns.   The decisions also prevented the detention of any citizen without a judicial approval, as well as the payment of the financial allocations for the three Kurdish opposition movements, along with the abolishment of all political punishments against the political activists of the opposition movements and the restoration of all their rights.   SKH (TR)/SR 417
