Iraqi ambassador to Romania discusses opening consulate in Arbil

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi Ambassador in Bucharest, Mohammad Saeed al-Shakraji, expressed his readiness to help Romania to expand its diplomatic representation in Iraq through opening a consulate in Arbil, according to a ministerial statement. “Al-Shakraji held a meeting with Romanian Foreign Minister Teodor Baconschi, with whom he discussed the open of a Romanian consulate in Arbil,” said the statement received by IraqiNews.com news agency. “The expanding of diplomatic representation is a step toward developing relations between Iraq and Romania,” the statement quoted the minister as saying.
