Iraqi’s judo team training in Uzbekistan, Iran for Arab championship

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraq’s judo team will be holding training camps in Uzbekistan and Iran prior to the start of the Arab championship to be hosted in Qatar late this year, according to the Iraqi judo federation chief on Thursday. “The training camps would offer a good step to develop our wrestlers’ abilities now that Uzbekistan and Iran are occupying advanced positions in the Asian and international jdo federations,” Sameer al-Musawi told IraqiNews.com news agency. He added that the Iraqi judo wrestlers are going to gain considerable benefit from these extensive training sessions ahead of the tournament in Qatar, scheduled on December 9-23. AmR (TP) 809
