Four foreign companies seek to invest in Wassit

WASSIT / IraqiNews.com: Four foreign companies expressed desire on Wednesday to implement investment projects in Wassit, chairman of the Wassit council said. “Representatives of four investment companies from Turkey, India, Iran and the United States, expressed on Wednesday desire to invest in Wassit,” Mahmoud Abdulreda told IraqiNews.com news agency. “India’s PSL seeks to provide Wassit with 500 Megawatt,” he said, noting that it offered to establish four plants in the province. “An agreement has been made also with a Turkish-U.S. company to provide the province with 250 Megawatt.” “A Turkish company visited also the council to implement infrastructure projects in Wassit,” he added. “The Iranian company offered to invest in houses and bridges sector,” Abdulreda noted.
