Fire erupts at market in Kut, destroys some stores

WASSIT / IraqiNews.com: A fire flared up on Wednesday in a market in Kut city, during which a number of stores were destroyed, a source from the Wassit Civil Defense said. “A fire erupted on Wednesday morning (March 9) in al-Taameem market, central Kut, where a number of stores were damaged,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency, noting that firefighters managed to put out the fire. “ S hort circuit   blamed for the fire,” he explained.
