4 arrested in North Kut

WASSIT / IraqiNews.com: A security source said that a joint Iraqi-U.S. force arrested four persons, wanted for planting bombs, in the north of Kut city.   The source told IraqiNews.com that a force belonging to the Ministry of Interior and an American military force conducted a raid,  in the Numaniya area, 40 km north of Kut, which resulted in the arrest of four persons wanted for planting bombs.   The raid continued for several hours with American air support.   Kut, the center of Wassit province, lies 180 km south east of the capital, Baghdad.
