Ammunitions dump found in Kut

WASSIT / IraqiNews.com: Police sources reported today that civil defense units found an ammunitions dump belonging to the former regime, containing 1087  artillery shells and 52 anti-tanks mines south of Kut city.  The source told IraqiNews.com that the civil defense unit and anti-mines squad found the dump, which were moved to a safe place and dismantle them.  Kut, the center of Wassit province, lies 180 km south east of the capital, Baghdad.
