Kut’s blast toll reaches 34 killed, 64 injured
WASSIT / IraqiNews.com: The toll from an explosion early on Monday in the city of Kut, the center of southern Iraq’s Wassit Province, has reached 34 killed and 64 injured, according to the Director-General of the Health Department in the Province. “An explosion that took place close to the goldsmith shops market in central Kut early in the day has reached 34 people killed and 64 injured,” Dia’uddin Jalil told IraqiNews.com news agency. He said the injured persons were driven to two Kut hospitals, whilst the dead were driven to the Justice Medicine Center in Kut’s al-Zahraa hospital.
