Armed gang arrested south of Kut city

WASSIT / IraqiNews.com: Wassit province police arrested today a specialized armed gang via a security raid south of Kut, according police commander.   General Hussein Abdul Hadi told IraqiNews.com that “police forces were able today to arrest an armed gang specialized in armed robbery, including stealing a great number of cattle that belong to the Iraqi-Jordanian company for cattle breeding.   The arrest operation was made according to intelligence information.   The gang members confessed their crimes, the general added.   Kut city, center of Wassit province, lies 180 km south of the capital, Baghdad RM (TS)/SR 477
