Arms & munitions seized in Kut

WASSIT / IraqiNews.com: Wassit policemen seized arms and munitions in southern Kut city on Monday thanks to intelligence tips, a security source said. “Thirty-seven improvised explosive devices and 140 mortar shells were found inside a house during a security operation in southern Kut,” the source told IraqiNews.com. Local authorities in Wassit are scheduled to receive security duties for the province from the Multi-National Force (MNF) late this month.
