236 Kuwaiti corpses recognized in Iraq – Kuwaiti Interior Ministry

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Kuwait‘s Interior Ministry today recognizing the corpses of 236 Kuwaiti prisoners, as reported by Kuwaiti News Agency (KUNA). The Kuwaiti ministry issued a book reviewing its activities to find the 605 Kuwaiti prisoners in Iraq who were lost during Iraqi invasion of Kuwait in 1990. The Iraqi invasion of Kuwait lasted for seven months. According to KUNA, 55 Iraqi corpses were found inside Kuwaiti territories, which were handed to the Iraqi side. Iraqi-Kuwait relations were severed in 1990, but relatively developed after 2003, despite a number of dossiers connected with the demarcation of the borders, compensations and, lately, on the construction of the Kuwaiti Mobarak terminal.
