6 TBI officials arrested

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The chairman of the Parliamentary Integrity Commission disclosed that a meeting was held with Trade Bank of Iraq Director General Hamdiyah al-Jaff.The meeting was to familiarize all involved parties with the dossiers on corruption in the bank. In a statement received by IraqiNews.com,  MP Baha’ al-Araji declared that the dossiers available were sent to the Integrity Commission.As a result, six senior officials were arrested.Some were released on bail, but the investigation is still ongoing. “There are new cases of corruption in the bank,” he added.
