2 soldiers killed, 4 wounded in Salah al-Din

SALAH AL-DIN / IraqiNews.com: Two soldiers were killed and four wounded in armed attack near Shirqat county, police sources said here today. The source told IraqiNews.com that this evening an armed group attacked a group of soldiers with machine guns, which led to killing two and wounding four. The soldiers were wearing civilian clothes. The culprits fled the crime scene. No other details were given. Shirqat county lies 100 km north of Tikrit, the center of Salah al-Din province, which is 175 km north of the capital, Baghdad.
