Industry Ministry signs contract to build 127 schools

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: State Company for Designs signed a contract with the Ministry of Education to build 127 schools in Thi Qar, Muthanna, Missan and Basra provinces, according to a statement issued by the Ministry today. In a statement, as was received by IraqiNews.com, it noted the company will demolish 127 mud schools and build new modern ones at a cost of 69.11 billion Iraqi dinars. Each school will have 9 classrooms, which, all will be finished in nine months time. The company is implementing the second phase of Diwaniya refinery, so that its will increase its refining capacity to 20 thousand b/d. RM (TS)/SR Number of Reads:118
