Jubori, Haabashkova discuss bilateral cooperation in human rights fields

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Chairman of Parliamentary Human Rights Commission confirmed respecting the right of expression in the country as a constitutional and legitimate right of the citizens, according to a statement issued by his office. The statement, as received by IraqiNews.com, noted that during his meeting with the European Union‘s ambassador to Iraq Yana Haabashkova, MP Saleem al-Jubori discussed the work mechanism of the parliamentary commission and its role as a legislative organ with the ministries, other governmental institutions, NGOs and UN organization in human rights fields.
