Increase in passengers in Arbil airport

ARBIL / IraqiNews.com: The number of Arbil airport passengers reached to 550 thousand, as reported by Airport Director General. In a press conference, Talar Faiq Saleh said that the increase in passengers number reached to 39 percent. With regards to shipping, the percentage increased by 62 percent compared to the previous year, she added. There are 12 airlines working in the airport, including three new ones this year; namely Cyprus, Egypt and Turkish airlines. The Turkish airlines is working on a daily basis, while the Emirates airlines is making four trips per week. She concluded that the weekly flight reached to 50-60 trips to 25 countries.
