Nujaifi meets Kuwaiti, Jordanian – Australian counterparts in Bern

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi parliament speaker Usama Nujaifi discussed with his Kuwaiti, Jordanian and Australian counterparts the development of relations with their countries. The meetings took place during the International Parliamentarian Conference held in Bern, Switzerland. In different statements issued by the Iraqi parliament, Nujaifi discussed with the Kuwait Parliament Speaker Jassim al-Khurafi bilateral relations and extended an invitation to visit Baghdad to discuss mutual issues. In addition, Nujaifi met his Jordanian counterpart Faisal al-Faiz and discussed with him the recent development in the Arab arena and the effects of Arab Spring on these states. In a third meeting, Nujaifi met his Australian counterpart Harry Jenkins and discussed Iraqi-Australian parliamentary relations and enhancement of bilateral contacts between the two countries.
