Kurdish MP demands compensations from Turkey

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: A lawmaker from the Kurdistan Alliance parliamentary bloc on Monday demanded the Turkish government compensate the Iraqi Kurdish families that were affected by the Turkish bombardment that targeted Kurdistan Workers Party’s (PKK) locations within the Iraqi border. “Turkey should be committed to the Kurdish families that were damaged by the Turkish bombardment,” Mohammed al-Senjari told IraqiNews.com. “The Turkish bombardment caused huge damage to Kurdish villages, and residents there were forced to flee, and currently live under very difficult circumstances,” he said. The Kurdistan Alliance occupies 53 out of the Iraqi council of representative’s 275 seats. MH (P)/SR   1
