Barzani to visit Iran – Turkey – statement

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Kurdish President Masoud Barzani will visit Iran and Turkey during the coming weeks, the head of  Kurdish Presidency Diwan announced today via the Kurdish Democratic Party electronic site. The site reported Fouad Hussein saying that Barzani will make an official visit to discuss bilateral relations in both countries. Kurdistan region has lately witnessed Turkish military concentrations on its borders under the pretext of chasing PKK party members. Reports were contradictory on the Turkish military intrusion, at a time that the Kurdish government denied such news. RM (TS)/SR 127
