Kirkuk’s Youth & Sports Director injured in explosive charge blast

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: An explosive charge has blown up  against a civilian car in northern Iraq’s city of Kirkuk on Sunday night, wounding the Director of Kirkuk‘s Youth & Sports, Jabbar Mohammed Ibrahim and a cadre of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) in Kirkuk‘s Dibbis township, the Directorate’s source reported on Monday. “An explosive charge blew up  on Sunday night against a civilian car close to the headquarters of the KDP in Dibbis township, 40 km to the west of Kirkuk, wounding 2 persons, one of the Kirkuk‘s Youth & Sports Director, Jabbar Mohammed Ibrahim and the second a cadre of KDP in Dibbis, whose leg was amputated,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. SKH (TP)/SR116
