Iraqi police kill suicide man, wearing exposive belt in Mosul

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi Police have killed a suicide bomber, planning to attack one of its checkpints east of Mosul, the center of northern Iraq’s Ninewa Province, on Tuesday, a Ninewa Security source reported. “Ninewa Police have managed to kill a suicide bomber, wearing an explosive belt, targeting one of its checkpoints in Rafa’e district, west of Mosul,” the Security source reported announced on Tuesday. “The Police, who suspected the suicide bomber, ordered him to stop, but he did not respond, thing that forced it to open fire on him, who blew up, but caused no casualties,” the Security source said, giving no further details. Mosul, the center of Ninewa Province, is 405 km to the north of Baghdad.
