Agreement signed with EU with 24 million Euros

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com:  Iraqi Planning Minister Ali Yousef al-Shukri signed today an agreement with the EU mission in Iraq Straus Stevenson to finance the support of Iraqi potentialities with a cost of more than 24 million Euros, according to a statement by the ministry. The statement, copy received by IraqiNews.com, quoted Shukri that “Iraq is establishing today a new distinguished relationship with the international community after the US forces withdrawal at the end of this year”. According to the statement, the agreement will support Iraqi capabilities in health fields, in coordination with World Health Organization, where 9.45 million Euros were allocated, in addition to 6.61 million Euros for the returning Iraqi refugees, in coordination with International Immigration Organization. It added that the agreement stipulated enhancing and developing the civil society with a figure of 5 million Euros.
