First new football goal keepers school in Iraq opened

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Police Sports Club announced today the inauguration of the biggest football goal keepers school in Iraq. Financial Secretary Ghazi Faisal told IraqiNews.com that the administration nominated Ibraheem Salim to administer the school. It is the first school of its kind in Iraq to train players between 1994 and 1999. Faisal added that the aim of the school is to provide Iraq football teams with new goal keepers with special potentialities, in addition to discover new talents, particularly to Police Sports Club which produced the best goal keepers in the country. Raad Hammoudi, head of the administrative board of Police Club is was one of the best goal keepers for more than ten years in different international tournaments. RM (TS)/SR 66
