Defense minister discusses with Basra governor security condition

BASRA / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi Defense Minister Abdul Qader al-Ubeidi and his accompanying delegation discussed with Basra Governor Mohamed Musbeh al-Waeli the security condition in Basra, the official spokesman for the ministry said on Wednesday. “Al-Waeli received today the defense minister and his accompanying delegation, during which they discussed the security developments in the southern province,” General Mohamed al-Askari told IraqiNews.com. “They also agreed on a new working plan to upgrade the security reality in Barsa,” he explained.
