Iraq regains 45 antique pieces from Germany

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com:  Director of Antiquities announced receiving the first batch of Iraqi stolen antiquities from Germany .  The expected number of pieces shall be 45, which was handed over during the visit of the Iraqi delegation there, according to a statement issued by the Culture Ministry today. A special ceremony shall be held at the Iraqi foreign ministry. Other stolen pieces were also received from Japan and Switzerland and another delegation is expected to visit Britain for the same reason.
