Possibilities of German investments discussed, statement

BASRA / IraqiNews.com: Basra Investment Commission discussed with the German Industry and Trade Office possibilities of German companies’ participation in reconstructing the province, exchange or expertise to develop Iraq cadres, according to a statement issued here today.  The statement, copy received by IraqiNews.com, said that the province has a distinguished investment place within Iraq , in addition to the security stability there.  It added that Basra investment official welcomed German participation in reconstructing the province due to their technologies.  The German Industry and Trade Office held lately a conference in Basra with the objective to study the investment opportunities and economic potentialities in the province.
