Iraq elected vice president in Chemical Weapons Ban Organization

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraq was elected today vice-president to the General Conference of the Chemical Weapons Ban Organization. The election took place in the Hague , according to a statement issued by the Ministry of Sciences and Technology. This is the first time Iraq to be elected for such post. Iraq joined the organization in 2008, but joined the Biological Ban agreement in 1991.
