Military group to join national reconciliation, Advisor
BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Premier’s advisor for national reconciliation announced today that negotiations were held with People of the Right Islamic Resistance group to participate in the political process, according to a statement issued by his office. The statement, copy received by IraqiNews.com, stated, quoting advisor Amer al-Khuza’i that this agreement was reached for their participation. Last year, the government entered into negotiations, where a leading member in the State of Law MP Sami al-Askari told IraqiNews.com that the group wanted to participate in the political process. This group is a military one that fought against the US presence in Iraq , which started in 2003 as clandestine groups in 2004. The US forces charged this group of making a number of military operations, in addition to abducting those who work with the Americans. 570
