Two policemen killed, cadre in Kurdistan Democratic Party injured in Kirkuk

KIRKUK / IraqiNews.com: Two policemen have been killed in an explosive charge blast in Hawija township of Kirkuk Province, whilst a cadre in the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) has been injured in another explosion under his car south of Kirkuk, the city’s Police Director, Sarhad Qaderreported on Saturday.”An explosive charge blew off against a police patrol in Hawija township, 65 km to the southwest of Kirkuk, killing 2 of its elements,” Lt-Brigadier Sarhad Qader told IraqiNews.com news agency.”Another explosive charge blew off under the vehicle of Chairman of Golan Organization of the KDP, seriously wounding him,” Qader added.In another incident, a Kirkuk Security source said that a “civilian has been killed and 2 others injured in a traffic accident on Kirkuk-Tuz main highway,” adding that the victim and one of the 2 wounded persons had been brothers.”SKH (PT)494
