Criticism over Turkish offer to receive Hashimi, MP

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Independent MP Alia Nsaif criticized Turkish interventions in vice-president Tariq al- Hashimi’s case by readiness to receive him.   In a statement issued by her media office, copy received by IraqiNews.com, she added “Turkey began negatively intervening in Iraqi  internal affairs, which might to affecting bilateral relation between the two countries”.   She added that the Turkish invitation to receive Hashimi stirred public uproar.   “Turkey knows clearly the volume of economic, trade and investment relations with Iraq, so it is wrong  to venture their future”, she added.   Iraqi Interior Ministry disclosed issuing an arrest warrant against Hashimi and broadcasted the confessions of his bodyguards for operating assassination attempts and bombings in 2009.   These political developments come at the time of US forces withdrawal, according to the agreement signed between the two countries at the end of 2008.   3070
