Cop killed, 2 soldiers wounded in Ninewa

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: A cop was killed and two soldiers were wounded in two different incidents in Ninewa province, security sources said today. The source told IraqiNews.com that the cop was killed in a bomb blast directed against his patrol, 60 km west of Mosul. In another incident, two soldiers were wounded when gunmen opened fire against a military check point, west of Mosul. The culprits fled the crime scene. No other details were given. Mosul, center of Ninewa province, lies 405 km north of the capital, Baghdad.2082
