Call to have reciprocal basis in diplomatic services with USA – Sadrist leader

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Sadrist Trend leader Muqtada al-Sadr called today to open an Iraqi Embassy in Washington on a reciprocal basis. In a statement by the political authority of the Sadrist Trend, al-Sadr called on “the competent authorities to open an embassy similar to that of US to protect the dignity of Iraq”. He called for lawful celebrations for “partial victory of honest resistance”. Al-Sadr suggested a massive celebration to be held on 9 April next.
