Talabani supports enhancing relations with Turkey – statement

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: President Jalal Talabani received the credentials of the new Turkish ambassador to Iraq Younis Dimerer, expressing desire to enhance relations between the two countries. In a Presidential statement, received by IraqiNews.com, Talabani confirmed the desire to develop political, economic and cultural relations for the benefit of both countries. For his part, the Turkish ambassador confirmed his country’s support of the political process and the developing democratic experiment in Iraq and evaluated the role of President Talabani to develop horizons of cooperation with Turkey.688
