Anti-corruption dossier semi-out of order – Ikaili

ARBIL / IraqiNews.com: A member of the Higher Legal Council and ex-Integrity Commission responsible said that “the corruption dossier in Iraq is out of order due to political crises”, criticizing “the silence of the Parliament due to political dealings among the entities”. Raheem Ikaili confirmed to IraqiNews.com the need for transparency law in addition to the right to get the information law. During his presence in Arbil, he confirmed to IraqiNews.com that “corruption cannot be treated without precautionary measures, as stipulated by the UN agreement on anti-corruption”. He added the necessity to create transparency in the public sector and the right of the Iraqi citizen to get the information.
