Mutlaq, Jeffrey discuss convening the national conference

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Deputy Premier Saleh al-Mutlaq discussed today with the US Ambassador to Iraq James Jeffrey the efforts exerted for convening the national conference to find a solution to the present crisis. In a statement by his office, it noted that both sides discussed bilateral relation and means for developing them for the benefit of the Iraqi and American peoples. Mutlaq confirmed, according to the statement, “the right of the Iraqi people to have a government that will express its aspirations and hopes and provides him with security, stability and services, within a framework of national partnership, representation and balance in government institutions”.
