Premier Maliki meets Iraqi scientist

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi Premier Nouri al-Maliki today called to study the experiments of the developing countries in scientific and research spheres to “start from their ending points and choose what suits us”. In a statement by his office, following a meeting with the elite of Iraqi scientists, he stressed the necessity of “taking care of the scientists if we want to have a developed country”. On their side, the scientists disclosed they were preparing a draft law connected with this matter, which shall be connected with the highest hierarchy of the state to benefit of their experiences and efficiencies.
